Last year, our students had the rare opportunity to step inside one of the most iconic recording spaces in the world — Abbey Road Studios — to record a selection of BBC Introducing artists live.

It was an unforgettable experience: working in a legendary studio environment, capturing live performances, and contributing to a professional recording process from start to finish. The session brought together emerging artists and our students in a collaboration that reflects the energy and creativity at the heart of contemporary music production.

That recording has now come full circle.

The album is officially released on vinyl today, with all proceeds going to BBC Children in Need — turning the project into something that not only showcases great music, but also supports an important cause.

With only 200 copies available, it’s a limited release that captures a unique moment — both for the artists involved and for the students who helped bring it to life.

The record brings together an exciting line-up of artists from the BBC Introducing community:
